Freedom Centre Building Grand Opening

We could not be more excited to announce the Grand Opening of our NEW BUILDING! God is faithful to do what He promises!

Our opening day is full of excitement with a launch service in the morning at 10AM. We will be celebrating, worshipping and having lots of fun.

This moment in time is very significant... We are opening a church on the very land where the gospel came to the city of tauranga. The original mission station, that was given to Reverend Alfred Brown in the 1830s.

The lands original purpose has since died off and become a place for industry and trade. But on Sunday March 29th it is being redeemed for the gospel. We believe this is going to be an extremely special moment, and that it is imperative that if you call Freedom Centre home that you are part of this opening.

We are also celebrating and serving the community that day with free attractions for families like pony rides, bouncy castles, face painting and we will also have food trucks on site.

Sunday evening at 6PM is our first Encounter Night for 2026 - and Ps Mike Connell is joining us! If you were at Freedom Conference 2025 you know it is going to be an incredible time.

This Grand Opening is physically signicant, but spiritually even more so.

Whether you are a member of Freedom, a friend of the house or someone who has never stepped foot into a church - we would love to host you on March 29th.
