A new month to see His Kingdom at work

It’s been a time of joy and celebration - especially the last 7 days - as we have obtained all of our resource consents on our Marsh Street building! Praise God!

We had every block and barrier stacked against us over the last 9 months but God made a way where there seemed to be no way! Truth be told, we didn’t even reveal publicly how difficult things had become, but we stood on Gods promise and His word that this was our building and we are finally consented!

This means it is all hands on deck especially once the structural work on the building has been completed. So if you’re handy, capable or just able to lend a hand cleaning, helping or making food - now is the time! As we do our best to get ourselves into our new building asap! If you would like to lend a hand sign up here! its for all available contractors/tradies/handy/helpful people who can get on board with building reno / church fit out end over the next 9-10 weeks.

Our last Sunday at Maleme Street is Sunday 26th of October. After that we will likely be gathering at Aquinas College Action Centre just up the road. And we are so looking forward to that being the first opportunity to have one single gathering in YEARS! Aquinas seats up to 850 people so we will have a wonderful time gathering there before we land at Marsh Street for an incredible start to our next chapter.

The church calendar will quiet down as we go into full building mode. This is the perfect time to get into a small group to stay connected. Small Group Sunday is this weekend so be sure to get into a group, or have a conversation about starting your own group. It’s not too late.

We are also celebrating a fantastic vision offering with so many participating and giving generously to build Gods kingdom! Thank you to everyone who has given. If you haven’t but would like to, you can do so using the link below.

Encounter Night was also such an incredible time in Gods presence. So many were touched by the power of God and the ministry through Ps Joseph Lee.

A couple of stories we are enjoying and celebrating: we had a family who needed breakthrough for employment, residency, education and housing; Ps Adem called them out of the crowd and gave them a prophetic word that breakthrough was coming. In the next 7 days they experienced an open door in every area they had been waiting on. Praise God! Also a few months ago a new girl came to church… the reason she came was because she wanted to get baptised. She asked ChatGPT what churches in Tauranga baptise people and Chat recommended us! How awesome!

We also heard a story of a miracle healing that happened during encounter night on Sunday; a woman who has a problem with her jaw locking was completely healed during the service. Praise God!
